Applications are invited from Indian male candidates possessing educational qualification and
age, as prescribed below, for recruitment to the post of Yantrik in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union.

2. Educational Qualification. Matriculation or equivalent and Diploma in Electrical/
Mechanical/Electronics and Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering approved by
All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) with 60% in aggregate. (5 % relaxation in aboveminimum cut off will be given for SC/ST candidates and outstanding sports person of National level who have obtained 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in any field sports events at the Open National Championship/ Interstate National Championship. This relaxation will also be applicable to the wards of Coast Guard uniform personnel deceased while in service).

3. Age. Minimum 18 years and maximum 22 years i.e. born between 01 Feb 1998 to
31 Jan 2002 (both dates inclusive, upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates).

4. Pay and Allowances. On joining Indian Coast Guard, you will be placed in Basic pay
` 29200/- (Pay Level-5). In addition, you will be paid Yantrik pay @ Rs.6200/- plus Dearness
Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the prevailing
regulations enforced time to time.

The Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union, offers a challenging career to young and dynamic Indian male/female candidates for various branches as an Assistant Commandant (Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer) and invites ‘online’ application.

2. Branch and Eligibility. Indian citizens having following minimum qualifications are eligible to apply:

(c) Commercial pilot entry CPL- SSA;
Born between Male/ Candidates holding current/valid Pilot Entry 01 Jul 1994 to Female Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) (CPL),
 30 Jun 2000 issued/validated by Director General (SSA) (Both dates of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Minimum inclusive). educational qualification - XIIth pass
(Physics and Mathematics) with 60% marks in aggregate.

(d) Law ;
Born between Male/ A degree in Law with minimum 60% 01 Jul 1989 to Female marks from a recognized university.
30 Jun 1998 (Three years degree in law after (Both dates graduation or Five years after 10+2 inclusive). examination).
 Short Service Appointment (SSA) – Short Service Appointment as Assistant Commandant is for a period of 08 years which may be extended to 10 years and further extendable up to 14 years.

Candidates applying for General Duty Entry Scheme (Male only) will be considered for Pilot Navigator on successful completion of basic training at INA Ezhimala.
