Applications are invited by the Captain of Ports, River Navigation Department, Betim upto 10/09/2018 for filling the following vacant posts as detailed below:

Essential:
1. VII Std. Pass.
2. Maritime School New Entrants
Course in either Deck or Engine Department.
3. Proficient in swimming.
4. Physically strong with good eye sight and sense of hearing
5. Knowledge of konkani.
Desirable :
1. 6 months experience as Sailor on board on inland vessel.
2. Knowledge of Marathi.
The application is subject to acceptance on the following terms and conditions:
1. Selection to the above posts will be done as and when vacancies arise within validity period.
2. The application should indicate name, address in full, nationality, date of birth, qualifications, experience, etc and enclosing therein duly self attested certificates of birth, valid Employment Exchange Registration Card and residence certificate of State of Goa for 15 years.
3. Age limit:- 18 years and above and not exceeding 45 years (relaxation to reserved categories and Govt. Servants as per orders/instructions issued by the Government).
4. Application will be summarily rejected at any stage of recruitment process for having incomplete/wrong information/misrepresentation of facts etc. No correspondence/inquiries will be entertained in regard to the vacancy.
