REQUIREMENT; I. Must possess Minimum General Educational
Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C
Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility
for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of
Studies or to College Courses of studies.

II. Must have passed the Government Technical
Examination in Typewriting:-
i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and
English (or)
ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/
Junior Grade in English (or)
iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and
Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.

Note:
Selection Procedure for Typist
a) Candidates with technical qualification referred
to in item (i) will be selected first
b) In case candidates with technical qualification
referred to in item (i) are not available,
candidates with technical qualification referred
to in item (ii) will be selected.
c) In case candidates with technical qualification
referred to in item (i) and (ii) are not available,
candidates with technical qualification referred
to in item (iii) will be selected


SALARY; Rs. Rs.19,500 - 62,000/-

Note
(i) Applicants who have already registered in One -Time Registration system within the validity period of 5 years are exempted.
(ii) Those who have registered in the One -Time Registration system and paid theRegistration fee of Rs.150/-, it is enough to pay the Examination fee alone. Rs.150/-

Typist (i) A pass in Bachelor’s Degree
 (ii) A pass in the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting Higher Grade in English and Tamil and
 (iii) Diploma / Certificate in Computer Course for a period of minimum six months.

EXAM; Typist 2 Hours 

The question paper will have 120 Objective type questions with multiple choices on the following subjects covering  General Science  Physics  Chemistry  Botany  Zoology  Current Events  History  Political Science  Geography  Economics  Science  History and Culture of India  Indian Politics and Indian Economy  Indian National Movement  Aptitude & Mental Ability etc.
