SSC,RESULT, CGL , TIER I, 2018

SSC, Staff Selection Commission conducted the Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-I), 2018 from 04.06.2019 to 13.06.2019 in the Computer Based Mode. Re-examination for 4825 candidates was conducted on 19.06.2019 and examination for 1 (one) candidate was conducted on 10.07.2019 on the Orders of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. A total of 8,36,139 candidates appeared in the said examination.

 2. Based on marks scored in Tier-I Computer Based Examination, candidates have been shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Tier-II Examination.


 Separate cut-offs have been fixed for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer (List-1), Junior Statistical Officer in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (List-2) and all other posts (List-3).


 3. As the Tier-I Computer Based Examination was conducted in multiple shifts, marks scored by the candidates have been normalized as per the formula published by the Commission on its website on 07.02.2019. Such normalized marks have been used to qualify the candidates for the next stage of Examination (i.e. Tier-II).

The candidates may login using their User ID (i.e. Roll Number) and Password (as per Admission Certificate) and submit representations, if any, from 28.02.2019 to 02.03.2019 (6:00 PM) through on-line method only, on payment of Rs. 100/- per challenge. 

The candidates may take print-out of their respective Response Sheets as the same will not be available after the above specified time limit.

The Staff Selection Commission had declared result of the Written Examination of the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination 2017 on 21.11.2017. In the said result 8469 candidates were declared qualified to be called for Skill Test for the post of Stenographer ‘C’ and 15004 candidates were declared qualified to be called for Skill Test for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’.

As per the notice issued by SSC on 238.11.2018 it is stated that  Skill Tests were conducted by Regional Offices of the 
Commission. 3731 candidates (2290 English + 1441 Hindi) appeared in Stenographer Grade ‘C’ Skill Test and 6439 candidates (3955 English + 2484 Hindi) appeared in Stenographer Grade ‘D’ Skill Test.

3 After adopting the following criteria for evaluation of the Skill Test i.e.
(a) Stenographer Grade ‘C’: upto 5% mistakes for UR and upto 7% mistakes for all reserved category candidates.
(b) Stenographer Grade ‘D’: upto 7% mistakes for UR and upto 10% mistakes forvall reserved category candidates.
